Winter is Here!
This means frosty, icy mornings, and perhaps even a little snow.
All of these things have the capacity to radically alter the look and feel of our environment, changing the well-known scenery around us exquisite.
If you are going out to take some photographs; be Prepared and Stay Warm when setting out cold weather with your camera, it is a good idea to be well equipped! Take gloves and hand warmers with you if you are going to be out for a long time; time and again you will need to take your hands out of your gloves and it can get increasingly more and more difficult to get them warm again.
It is also worth taking a spare battery, as cold temperatures reduce the power and therefore the battery life. Keep your spare batteries in an inside pocket to keep it warm and fully charged cold batteries loose power.

My first wedding photography was when I was 17 years of age. Both the equipment has change over time as has my style and ability. Photography has been a passion for over 30 years. In fact probably over 40 years, but 30 since I purchased my first SLR Camera. It was a Richo XR7 and at the time it was a top of the rage camera. Now I shoot with the Canon 5D Mk ii.
